• No user account, login or password.
• No personal financial data or amounts.
• No email address for direct downloads.
• No advertising profiling or retargeting.
• No sale, rental or advertising use of collected addresses.

Newsletter subscription is separate from downloading the free guide. It is limited to a few messages a year about important guide updates and new SEEC publications, whether free or paid.

SEEC stores the email address, language, source, relevant timestamps and the exact consent notice in its private database, hosted in the EU eu-west-1 region (Ireland). A confirmation email is required before any editorial message is sent.

Resend receives the address and message only to deliver emails. Resend is established in the United States and its data processing agreement incorporates the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. SEEC uses no tracking pixel and does not measure opens or clicks.

Every message contains an easy unsubscribe link. A minimal suppression record may be retained after withdrawal to prevent accidental future sends.

The short SEEC form asks for the feedback text, language, chosen destination and, only for signed publication, a name or pseudonym and optional context. It does not ask for an email address.

Nothing is published automatically. Public feedback requires explicit permission and human moderation. Anonymous feedback is shown without a name or identifying context; private feedback is never published.

Detailed Tally questionnaires remain separate and never subscribe a respondent to the newsletter.

The newsletter signup form and the feedback form use Cloudflare Turnstile, an anti-bot check. When you submit, your browser runs an automatic test — no images to decipher, no checkbox. In the vast majority of cases you only see a brief verification indicator.

The check loads a script hosted by Cloudflare and analyses technical signals from your browser to tell a person apart from an automated submission. It may store a temporary technical marker specific to that verification. It creates no advertising identifier, does not follow your navigation from page to page and feeds no audience measurement. The resulting token is verified by our server with Cloudflare, then discarded: it is not retained.

Why it is there: these two forms write to our database and, for the newsletter, trigger a confirmation email. Without the check, a bot can use them to flood the database or have messages sent to addresses that never asked for them. The check applies to the forms only: reading the site and downloading the guide remain free, with no account and no email address.

If a script blocker prevents the check from loading, the submit button stays disabled and a message says so. In that case, write to us: access to the content must never depend on your browser.

The French and English reader questionnaires are hosted by Tally. On submission, Tally records the submission ID and time, language and answers to the 21 questions, then syncs them directly to SEEC’s private Notion database.

• The questionnaire asks for no name, account, email address or financial amount.
• Google Sheets is not part of the active collection path.
• Answers are used only for editorial analysis of the guide, not for publication, newsletters or advertising.
• Technical submissions are identified as tests and excluded from analysis.

For any request concerning a questionnaire answer, use the contact details in the legal notice and include the Tally submission ID if available.

Amounts entered in Your budget sheet are calculated and stored only in your browser. They are not transmitted to SEEC, stored on a server or included in analytics.

The website code loads Google Tag Manager container GTM-59WHL4DH. The browser may therefore contact Google to obtain the container before a choice is recorded; Consent Mode v2 signals that analytics and advertising categories are denied by default.

As of 27 August 2026, production checks show that Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity provide no usable measurement to SEEC, including after acceptance. SEEC currently receives no GA4 statistics, Clarity heatmaps or session replays.

The internal counter stores only the date, country code and page-view total. It stores no IP address, visited path, journey or visitor identifier.

You can change optional measurement preferences at any time. The internal day/country counter uses no cookie and does not track individuals.
