Privacy

• The free guide and the website: reading and downloading are free, with no account and no email address. Nothing specific is collected for this; only the measurement described below applies, some of it only after your consent.
• The SEEC newsletter and books: the newsletter is optional and run by Systeme.io. It announces guide updates and SEEC publications, free or paid, including books sold on Amazon. Subscribing gives no access to additional guide content.

• No user account, login or password.
• No personal financial data or amounts.
• No email address for direct downloads.
• No advertising profiling or retargeting.
• No sale, rental or advertising use of collected addresses.

Subscription takes place on a page hosted by Systeme.io, the service that manages the subscriber list and sends the newsletter. It is voluntary and separate from downloading the free guide. The newsletter is written in French.

Data kept: email address, subscription and confirmation dates, a tag marking the SEEC newsletter subscription, and the sending history.

Double opt-in: a confirmation email is sent and no newsletter is sent before its link is clicked. An unconfirmed subscription is deleted automatically after about 24 hours.

Measurement of opens and clicks: each newsletter contains a small invisible image that shows whether it was opened, and its links pass through Systeme.io to count clicks. This is used only to know whether the newsletter is read and which topics interest readers, in order to improve it. It is not used for any advertising profiling.

Systeme.io states that it hosts its data with Amazon Web Services in Ireland, within the European Union.

Every newsletter contains an unsubscribe link. After unsubscribing, the address no longer receives the newsletter. A confirmed subscription remains active until unsubscription or a deletion request sent to bonjour@seec.ch.

The few subscriptions made before 16 October 2026 with the former website form remain in SEEC’s private Supabase database (Ireland) and can still unsubscribe with the link they received; that form is closed.

Paid SEEC books are sold on Amazon. The purchase takes place entirely at Amazon, under its own privacy rules. SEEC receives neither your name, nor your address, nor your payment data.

The short SEEC form asks for the feedback text, language, chosen destination and, only for signed publication, a name or pseudonym and optional context. It does not ask for an email address.

Nothing is published automatically. Public feedback requires explicit permission and human moderation. Anonymous feedback is shown without a name or identifying context; private feedback is never published.

Detailed Tally questionnaires remain separate and never subscribe a respondent to the newsletter.

The feedback form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, an anti-bot check. When you submit, your browser runs an automatic test — no images to decipher, no checkbox. In the vast majority of cases you only see a brief verification indicator.

The check loads a script hosted by Cloudflare and analyses technical signals from your browser to tell a person apart from an automated submission. It may store a temporary technical marker specific to that verification. It creates no advertising identifier, does not follow your navigation from page to page and feeds no audience measurement. The resulting token is verified by our server with Cloudflare, then discarded: it is not retained.

Why it is there: this form writes to our database. Without the check, a bot can use it to flood the database. The check applies to the form only: reading the site and downloading the guide remain free, with no account and no email address. The newsletter subscribe button leads to the Systeme.io page, outside seec.ch, which follows Systeme.io’s own rules; the site’s measurement preferences do not apply there.

If a script blocker prevents the check from loading, the submit button stays disabled and a message says so. In that case, write to us: access to the content must never depend on your browser.

The French and English reader questionnaires are hosted by Tally. On submission, Tally records the submission ID and time, language and answers to the 21 questions, then syncs them directly to SEEC’s private Notion database.

• The questionnaire asks for no name, account, email address or financial amount.
• Google Sheets is not part of this Tally feedback path for the free guide.
• Answers are used only for editorial analysis of the guide, not for publication, newsletters or advertising.
• Technical submissions are identified as tests and excluded from analysis.

This separate survey has 15 optional questions in Google Forms. Answers and submission times are stored in an access-restricted Google Sheet to prepare the forthcoming book. No name or email is requested; open-text answers must not include identifying details.

Raw responses are kept for six months after the survey closes; afterwards, only a summary without identifying details is retained. Tests are excluded from analysis. Answers are not linked to Pack/newsletter registrations or sent to the CRM. Taking part does not subscribe you to a newsletter.

Amounts entered in Your budget sheet are calculated and stored only in your browser. They are not transmitted to SEEC, stored on a server or included in analytics.

The website code loads Google Tag Manager container GTM-59WHL4DH. The browser may therefore contact Google to obtain the container before a choice is recorded; Consent Mode v2 signals that analytics and advertising categories are denied by default.

As of 27 August 2026, production checks show that Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity provide no usable measurement to SEEC, including after acceptance. SEEC currently receives no GA4 statistics, Clarity heatmaps or session replays.

The internal counter stores only the date, country code and page-view total. It stores no IP address, visited path, journey or visitor identifier.

Optional Umami measurement starts only after you accept audience statistics. It records the page viewed and its referrer (without URL parameters), campaign parameters from newsletter links, country and canton, language, browser, system, device type and screen size, plus a technical identifier renewed every month, without cookies. IP addresses are not stored, any city is erased every night, and nothing you type is measured. Retention: 14 months. Details: /en/privacy-and-measurement.

You can change optional measurement preferences at any time. The internal day/country counter uses no cookie and does not track individuals.

SEEC adapts its tools as its uses evolve, for example to sell new books or to measure interest in the newsletter. Each active processing is described on this page before it is put into service. No new use of data already collected is introduced without being described here.
